TankSafe is non-toxic and specifically designed for rainwater tank disinfection.
TankSafe can protect your rainwater supply from bacteria and pathogens for up to 2 months (depending on volume of water consumed), unlike chlorine which will quickly dissipate after dosing.
TankSafe should be dosed until test strips (sold separately) indicate the correct amount has been used.

NOTE: This table is a guide only. TankSafe should be dosed until test strips (sold separately) indicate the correct amount has been used. TankSafe is consumed in the process of neutralising organic material, meaning that more heavily polluted water sources will require a larger initial shock dose. Multiple shock doses may be required. The general rule for dosage is 65 millilitres per 1000 litres of tank volume (depending on pollution level).
