NOTE: This table is a guide only. TankSafe should be dosed until test strips (sold separately) indicate the correct amount has been used. TankSafe is consumed in the process of neutralising organic material, meaning that more heavily polluted water sources will require a larger initial shock dose. Multiple shock doses may be required. The general rule for dosage is 65 millilitres per 1000 litres of tank volume (depending on pollution level).
